Adabina in Frankfurt

Best Ethiopian cuisine!!!

Wir haben zwei gemischte Platten für 70 Euro abgeholt weil wir unbedingt das rohe Rindfleisch probieren wollten. Leider war das überhaupt nicht auf der Platte (und weder am Telefon noch beim Abholen ein Hinweis darauf dass das fehlen würde). Insgesamt war es sehr wenig für uns 4 so dass wir nicht mal so richtig satt wurden (es war zwar ganz lecker aber 70 Euro völlig überzogen). Im Gastraum beim warten auf die Abholung habe ich ausserdem leider eine Maus gesehen. Schade die gemischten Platten klangen auf der Seite so vielversprechend es hat leider sehr viel davon gefehlt!

We picked up two mixed platters for 70 euros because we really wanted to try the raw beef. Unfortunately it wasn't on the record at all (and neither on the phone nor when picking it up was an indication that it was missing). All in all, it was very little for the 4 of us so that we weren't really full (it was delicious, but 70 euros was completely excessive). In the guest room while waiting for the pick-up I also saw a mouse. What a shame the mixed records sounded so promising on the side, unfortunately a lot was missing!

Schönes, authentisches Ambiente und leckeres Essen!

Traditionelles äthiopisches Restaurant mit authentischem Ambiente und Speisen. Gewöhnungsbedürtig aber sehr lecker. Tip für den Besuch: Die gemischte Platte ab 2 Personen, hier bekommt man einen guten Überblick der angebotenen Speisen, der südafrikanische Sauvignon Blanc passt dazu sehr gut. Dem Injera, dem Brot kann ich persönlich nichts abgewinnen, aber Geschmäcker sind ja bekanntlich verschieden. Die Parksituation ist nicht gut, am besten gleich in das Parkhaus in der Zoopassage fahren. Zum Abschluss die Empfehlung: cafe nach äthiopischer Art gebraut. Guten Appetit 😋

Traditional Ethiopian restaurant with an authentic ambience and food. Takes getting used to but very tasty. Tip for a visit: The mixed platter for 2 or more people, here you get a good overview of the dishes on offer, the South African Sauvignon Blanc goes very well with it. Personally, I can't get anything from the injera, the bread, but tastes are known to be different. The parking situation is not good, it is best to go straight to the parking garage in the Zoopassage. Finally, the recommendation: coffee brewed the Ethiopian style. Bon appetit 😋

Great food, homely atmosphere

Sehr Lecker. Es wird auf die Corona Regelungen geachtet. Sehr nette Bedienung. Ich persönlich kannte einige Gerichte auf der Karte nicht aber die Erklärung darunter ist gut. Das essen war ausreichend und lecker. Ich bin neu in Frankfurt und werde wieder kommen.

Delicious. The Corona regulations are observed. Very nice service. Personally, I wasn't familiar with some of the dishes on the menu, but the explanation underneath is good. The food was sufficient and tasty. I am new to Frankfurt and will come again.

Sehr leckeres Essen, besonders die gemischte Platte ist zu empfehlen, weil man einen guten Querschnitt an Gerichten probieren kann. Das Ambiente ist eigentlich ganz schön, die Beleuchtung allerdings sehr hell und damit etwas ungemütlich und die Musik hat uns gefehlt. Trotzdem eine Empfehlung!

Very tasty food, especially the mixed platter is recommended because you can try a good cross-section of dishes. The ambience is actually quite nice, but the lighting is very bright and therefore a bit uncomfortable and we missed the music. Still a recommendation!

We a family of five drove to Adabina kitfo ethiopian restaurant based on other reviews and recommendations. We are highly satsfied. The food was very delicious. It is not a watered down versions. Food was made right. The ethiopian coffee was excellent. The owner was very kind,helpful and friendly. This place will be my go to ethiopian restaurant the next time I drive to Frankfurt.I highly recommend this place!!

Wir mussten unglaublich viel bezahlen für ein Essen, was noch nicht einmal gut geschmeckt hat. Die Bedienung war unfreundlich und wir bekamen keine schriftliche Quittung.

Wow! Dining at Adabina was excellent! We were looking for an unfamiliar cuisine and we were in for a treat. Amazing aromas tingled our senses. The menu really watered our expectations as well as our mouths. We had a beef and chicken dish. The dishes are made fresh are very well balanced in spice. The custom of eating is nice if you are looking for something different. The taste was amazing and really authentic. The service was very polite and took time for our questions. We had some great traditional honeywine and Etheopean beer. Delicious. Also the ambiance, decor and music are a great attribute for the overall experience. We also loved that this is a family business and they put their heart and soul(food) in this. A must see and taste! Will definately come back! Six out of five. Greetings from the Netherlands

Alles super. Haben zu dritt eine Platte geteilt und als wir am Ende noch nicht ganz satt waren hat der Kellner uns aufs Haus noch eine kleine Portion gegeben. Kann ich jedem weiterempfehlen!

Everything great. The three of us shared a plate and when we weren't quite full at the end the waiter gave us a small portion on the house. I can recommend it to everyone!
